How to  make your Windows shut down faster?

After using computer when you shutdown windows, you may sometimes wonder whether you can make the shut down faster. Even those who play games for 3 or 4 hours at a stretch will be impatient to wait while waiting for shutting down. Some may complain, 'my computer takes very long time to shut down'. There is way to make your shutting down time shorter.
Follow these steps to make shut down time to 5 seconds.
In a blank space in your desktop, right click and select 'New / Shortcut'.
In the 'Create shortcut' window in the 'Type the location of the item' box type shutdown and then leave a blank space and type the command as shown below.
If you use Windows 95/98 or ME then type c:\windows\rundll.exe\user.exe exitwindows
If you use Windows XP then type c:\windows\system32\shutdown.exe -s -t -05
The system will alert you that the system will shutdown in 5 minutes. If you want to make it longer then change the seconds as you want.
Now click 'Next' and type a name for your shortcut
Now click 'Finish'.
What you have done is, to create a shortcut for the program 'Shutdown.exe' and to execute it with your own preferences. This file is usually available at %systemroot%system32 folder.
