its still available on the hd
but in the download manager am using all the download history and current downloads disappeared i cant find anything to resume

OpenSuse is the best linux version so far its free you can download to burn on dvd or cd
it is huge like 3.8gb
once you download it you write it on a disk as an image and its all done

i wish i can install it on my laptop
i tried to install xp on it before nothing worked it required loads of drivers so no way i will install anything on it before making sure all drivers are available

Regards

hmmmm...  that is odd that it would disappear..  Did you check all the folders on you PC?  Like check the folders where FlashGet saves the downloads until completion?  It may be in FlashGets App Directory, or maybe in something like 'C:\My Downloads\' or just 'C:\Downloads\'.

And btw, how good is OpenSUSE because I've heard it is one of the best(being a commercial version of Linux), but it is a huge download(mainly because it comes packed with software and such, saving you download and install(compile) time).

eh...  2 weeks isn't horrible.  Just remember you only have to download the game once, so after this you can just play and enjoy.

Also, what kind of connection do you have?  I remember having dial-up and it was awful.  I hated trying to get programs and games as downloads, or even playing games online for that matter.  I died a lot and lag was bad.  We finally got DSL so I'm doing much better there.  I can get about 200-300 Mb an hour if my connection is idle.

Yea, the download is a pain, especially when there are updates every once and awhile(which can take anywhere from 10 mins - 90 mins(depending on the size of the update)).

If you get a download manager, you can just take some time out of each day and download a bit.  It really is good game.

I hope this is in the correct section.  If not then I could only guess it would go in the general(off-topic) section....  So sorry if this is wrong staff...

I just wanted to tell everyone here about a new game I've been playing.  Rappelz.  It is really fun.  It is like World of Warcraft, Everquest, and Guild Wars(more like Guild Wars than anything).

The thing about this game is, it is FREE.  It is a game that is free to play, but you can pay money for extra items and such that can only be obtained by buying them.  So if you dont mind paying for extra stuff that's nice, but playing the game itself is free and really fun.

Just check it out.  They have trailers and screenshots under the downloads section so you can see what it is like.
Also, it is a 1.6 Gb download, so be weary of that.

But if anyone wants to play, let me know and maybe we can play together sometime.
