Over 250 years ago, Benjamin Franklin pointed out that time is money. Of course, I'd heard that plenty of times,You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login, but I never completely understood it until I stood back and took a good look at the lives and careers of those around me.There are so many people who work hard every day for their employers, and they get so little in return. They put in extra effort and overtime at work, all with the hope being appreciated in terms of getting promotions and pay increases. Once in a while, they get a nice pat on the back or a special thank you for going the extra mile (or two, or three...), but that is about it. But I saw what I wanted in life, and I saw that I wasn't going to get there if I continued running on the same old treadmill every day. Nobody else was going to do it for me, that was for sure. I could choose to let it lie there, or I could take action.The choice I made--to take action-- was the first step toward success.First, I found a business that was right for me.
