It makes it look cared for and updated. Talk about your family project. We removed the old driveway and hauled it off before the contractors came to install the new one. It took about 2 months of Saturdays to remove it. We all learned how to drive backhoe loaders and jack hammers. The boys loved it for the first week.
Water heaters are another exciting expenditure but just like it's cousins the furnace and roof, it is a needed relative. They all are to make our lives secure and comfortable. They might not need a celebration but we are so glad we have them, a home in good repair is so nice. The home is safe and beautiful and it just makes us glad when all is working well.
