KOREM's mandate was to provide Quebec's ministere des Relations internationales with an ASP (application service provider) service designed to put on line a cartographic application on their web site.The application had to be simple and adapted to that special event.The result is an application that offers a quick and effective way to navigate within the map of Quebec City to locate a point of interest or a building and particularly around the security perimeter area.Furthermore, this fully dynamic application enables its users to find a location using a street name or a postal code.
This ASP service uses MapInfo MapXtreme Java technology with a specific adaptation of KOREM's Push'n'see software.Push'n'See has been developed by KOREM, to meet the GIS (geographic information system) and mapping needs of companies and public organizations using MapInfo Professional.The software is designed to consult,You are not allowed to view links.
