Self-mastery…what is it?  And how does it resonate with the whole topic of leadership?  Knowing who you are,You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login, understanding the importance of the goals that you have set for yourself, and having a plan as to how you will go about accomplishing these goals.  This is the very foundation upon which self-mastery is built.  Furthermore, if we were to go beyond this basic framework,You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login, we would arrive at a list of 12 keys to self-mastery.  They are as follows:   
  (1)proper goal setting- people who set their own goals at least have a clear knowledge of which direction they are headed in   
  (2)stick to your mission- once you have determined a plan of action, you should stick to it by all means (eg. show unwavering commitmen)   
  (3)believe in yourself- confidence is one of the biggest keys to success; just remember that everyone else can believe in you but unless you believe in yourself,You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login, you will not achieve anything in life   
  (4)guarding your energy- be careful how you use your energy as using it for malicious purposes will do you more harm than good   
  (5)embrace doing the difficult thing- sometimes, life offers us many shortcuts but refrain from taking them as taking such paths will not be a true test of our character   
  (6)do not waste time judging others- you should only worry about yourself and leave other people to themselves as great leaders lead by example     
  (7)knowing how to express yourself- if something needs to be said or done,You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login, then you must be able to speak your mind freely; regardless of what others may say or think   
  (8)do not be afraid to look foolish- sometimes, you just can’t please everyone, so stop trying (eg. Walt Disney built an empire on fairy tales)!
The 12 Fundamental Keys to Self-Mastery
