LONDON (Reuters) - Chantelle Houghton's 15-month marriage to fellow "Celebrity Big Brother" contestant Preston ended in a 90-second divorce in London on Wednesday.
The pair, who fell in love in front of millions of television viewers while starring on the TV reality show, announced they were to split in June.
Houghton was granted the quickie divorce on the grounds that Preston had behaved in such a way that she could no longer be expected to continue living with him.
Neither appeared at London's divorce headquarters in First Avenue House for the hearing.
Houghton, who worked as a lookalike of American hotel heiress Paris Hilton, was an unknown "fake celebrity" before she appeared on Big Brother. However, she won the contest and emerged a tabloid newspaper star.
She and Preston, lead singer of The Ordinary Boys, became engaged in April last year and married at a lavish ceremony the following August, selling the rights to OK magazine for 300,000 pounds.
Houghton, 24, was granted a decree nisi by Judge Alistair Bassett Cross because of the admitted unreasonable behaviour of her 25-year-old husband.
Samuel did not contest her petition which went through with a batch of 29 other divorces.
The singer had seen his profile rise thanks to the couple's early romance.
