Monsanto raises earnings forecast
NEW YORK (Reuters) - Agricultural biotech company Monsanto Co raised its fiscal 2008 earnings forecast on Tuesday, citing strong demand for corn seeds and increased demand for glyphosate-based herbicides, sending its shares up more than 11 percent.
