Philips posts first loss since 2003, axes 6,000 jobs
AMSTERDAM (Reuters) - Writedowns of more than 1 billion euros pushed Philips Electronics deep into the red in the fourth quarter, and it will cut 6,000 jobs to cope with a steep downturn that has hurt its consumer business.<div class="feedflare">
