JPMorgan wouldn't have bought Bear without Fed: Dimon
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - JPMorgan Chase & Co chief executive Jamie Dimon said on Thursday that the bank would not have offered to buy Bear Stearns Cos if the Federal Reserve had not agreed to absorb billions of potential losses.
