A Developer Edition of the Samsung Galaxy S5 will make its way to Verizon Wireless in the near future. The upcoming handset has the model number ET-G900VMKA.

As expected, the specs of the Samsung Galaxy S5 Developer Edition will the same as those of the regular version. The only difference in the newcomer will be the presence of unlocked bootloader, which will allow users to easily tinker with Android ROMs.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 Developer Edition will almost certainly be available on Verizon without contract and carrier subsidies. There is no word if other US carriers will offer the version for the time being.
