Sorry, hatch lovers! We don't mind though as this four-door looks extremely sleek with some sick aero compared to a standard WRX. So what's new about it? We haven't driven it yet but it's said to be much stiffer and more agile than ever-faster steering is to blame with a 13.0:1 ratio compared to 14.5:1 of a standard WRX. Power remains similar to the old-gen STI with 305hp and 290 lb-ft of torque from the 2.5-liter turbo boxer. Although, Subie tells us the ECU has been modified for quicker response. As far as other new features are concerned, the STI receives "Active Torque Vectoring." This basically is an advanced system to reduce understeer by applying brake pressure to the inboard front wheel during cornering. Fancy stuff that we'll have to try ourselves.
