Carter meets Hamas chief in Syria
DAMASCUS (Reuters) - Former U.S. president Jimmy Carter met Hamas leader Khaled Meshaal in Damascus on Friday for talks expected to focus on ways to include the Islamist group in efforts to achieve Palestinian-Israeli peace.
