Oh, and btw, here are some links to look at.

Those are all more professional reviews, but are for PAID programs, and I am reviewing free programs. Those links are more to help you overall in internet security.
thx for these good tips ;)
i guess now i decided what to use after my Norton subscription ends ;)
I also would like to add a new Anti-Spyware program to this list.
Ad-Aware 2007 Free
This is a very nice Anti-Spyware application. It is from Lavasoft, which is a pretty well known company. I actually would recommend this program over AVG's Anti-Spyware program. I still like Spybot the best, but Spybot does not really offer the same 'real-time' protection that AVG does.
After a little bit of trial, Ad-Aware is pretty decent. There are some features that are removed from this free version(to get you to upgrade to the suite), like the real-time protection. But no worries. Setting up a daily scan(nightly or in the morning) is an easy solution to that if you constantly have problems. The actual scanning capabilities and scan quality is pretty impressive, seeing as this is a free program.
