vBulletin is most popular forum software

Does anyone else agree with me that vBulletin the most-used and most popular forum software or is IPB, phpbb, or SMF the most popular forum software?

Let's discuss what forum software is the most popular if vBulletin isn't.

Urmm i would think that SMF is FREE so thats AWSOME. IPB and vBulletin are good but they should be free. Althought phpbb is sometimes good, its can get unstable and sometimes crash if spammers are ur friendly community
i would go for SMF as the BEST!

VB is the best commercial software ( i think its the first)
it continues getting  developed and user can modify its template in an user friendly way
IPB got many features its also good i have used it too but donno what made me switch to another although it got the special multi topic moderation and such cool stuff
i cant talk about phpbb cuz i havnt really used much
anyways

Despite the limitations in features and stuff which everyone know
but i love customizing it
if u look at this theme on these boards it stinks but ill be having a promissing smf upon 2.0 release


although i got VB and IPB licenses but i donno i still like smf the free more

Since I have used phpBB for almost all the time I have been a web developer, I can say it's the best for me. I would chose vbulletin if you are willing to pay,though.
