About Katakune

Katakune is a friendly and curious silkworm, living in the wonderful and colourful world of Tazzleland. Cute, lovable and all-round appealing, Katakune spends his time exploring and learning about his world. In each episode, he becomes more aware of his environment, meets new friends and learns about safety, responsibility and kindness. His endearing personality easily makes him popular with his friends, and together they spend their time growing, learning and developing meaningful friendships. Through interesting scenarios presented in colourful 3D animation, Katakune portrays positive values that children could absorb intuitively whilst enjoying the rich graphics. Educational and entertaining, Katakune shows children simple ways to deal with complex concepts of social responsibility, friendship, life skills and value systems. Additional subjects in basic science, geography, mathematics, health and hygiene, environmental issues and creativity are also illustrated.
