In the land of Juda, the least among the princes of Juda came forth a Governor that was destined to rule the people of Israel.
The King Herod called the wise men to ask of them what time would the star appear. He then sent them to Bethlehem to search for the young child, Jesus. The wise men were supposed to send word back to King Herod when they found Jesus so the King could go and worship him.
The wise men did as the King ordered them to do and saw a star in the east when they departed that went before them until it lead them and stood over where the young child, Jesus laid.
The wise men began to rejoice when they saw the star with great and exceeding joy. They went into the house where Jesus was and saw the young child,You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login, Jesus with Mary his mother. The wise men fell down, and worshipped Jesus. They opened treasures they had brought and presented gifts to Jesus of gold, frankincense and myrrh.
God warned the wise men in a dream to not return to King Herod. When they left the baby Jesus they went into their own country another way from King Herod.
Then an angel appeared to Joseph in a dream. The angel told Joseph to get up and take the young child and his mother into Egypt and to stay there until they received further instructions because King Herod would seek the young child to destroy him.
When Joseph arose from sleep he took the young child and his mother, Mary into Egypt. Joseph, Mary and Baby Jesus stayed in Egypt until the death of King Herod. This was a fulfilling of the prophesy spoke that was: “Out of Egypt have I called my son.”
When King Herod became aware that the wise men mocked him, he was very angry and sent orders to slay all the children two years old and under that was in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts around Bethlehem. When this occurred it was a fulfilling of prophesy spoken by Jeremy the Prophet saying: “In Ra’ma was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping for her children,You are not allowed to view links. After the death of King Herod, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream while he stayed in Egypt. The angel of the Lord told Joseph to take the young child and his mother to Israel because King Herod who sought the young child’s life was now dead. Joseph did as the angel of the Lord instructed him and took the young child and his mother into the land of Israel.
Joseph heard Archelaus reigned now in Judea in the room of his father, King Herod,You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login, therefore,You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login, he was afraid to go further. However, he was warned of God in a dream, therefore, he turned aside into the parts of Galilee.
Joseph, Mary and the child Jesus dwelt in a city called Nazareth. This fulfilled prophesy spoken by the prophets, who said: “He shall be called a Nazarene.”
