Slumping sales of the hybrid version in Japan and an all-new engine in the Honda R&D pipeline with power numbers in the 200-pony range. The engine is also in the cards for the Fit, 2012 Civic and possibly the Accord in various states of tune and output. The CR-Z scenario is appealing as the tuning scene could use some gas burning fusion and any performance minded Honda is good for enthusiasts and tuners alike. May we suggest dropping the new bullet in something that looks like the CR-X Hybrid R (pictured) with its aggressive stance and visual impact that we saw at the 2010 SEMA Show? - EG</p>
