Investor's Business Daily - The central bank welcomes investments from state-owned investment funds in U.S. banks and other ailing financials, a top Fed official told the Senate Banking Committee. But several senators raised concerns about the potential rising influence of the funds. Fed General Counsel Scott Alvarez said the stakes, while large, have been less than 10% of U.S. banks.
