Goody's Family Clothing files for Chapter 11

AP - Privately owned Goody's Family Clothing Inc., a moderately priced retailer operating primarily in the Southeast, said Monday it is filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and will close 103 stores and an Arkansas distribution center.
