Monsanto profit rises, but '08 outlook disappoints
      

KANSAS CITY, Missouri (Reuters) - Monsanto Co  posted a higher quarterly profit on record revenue from its corn seed, herbicide and other products, but the stock fell more than 5 percent on disappointment the company did not raise its full-year earnings forecast.
