   About Tadoba National Park
The forest in the region of Chimur Hills is located at Chandrapur, India. It is very famous for its wildlife for many centuries now. This mystical place was once ruled by the dynasty of the Gond kings. Hunting was constrained barely to wild animals in 1905 and was absolutely forbidden since 1935.
Tadoba National Park is within the Chandrapur District in the eastern part of Maharashtra, India together with the Andhari Wildlife Sanctuary. The Andhary Wildlife Sanctury had been incorporated with the Tadoba National Park in order to guarantee better wildlife organization. They belong to a tiger reserve called Tadoba-Andheri Tiger Reserve.
The landscape is surging with panoramic sight of hills, lakes, valleys, and meadows. Tadoba Lake is located approximately in the park's center. The type of weather here is arid. Just 140 cm of rainfall is received here yearly. October to May is the most excellent time to visit when the climate is conducive to touring. History of Tadoba National Park
The Tadoba-Andheri Tiger Reserve was created in 1955 and considered as the oldest National Park in Maharashtra. In addition, it is one of the 28 Tiger Reserve Projects in India. It covers an area of 116.55 sq. km having Asiatic lion, Crocodiles and Jackals as its main attraction. Tadoba National Park is frequently referred as 'The Jewel of Vidharba.'  The park's name was derived from ��Taru,�� a local God or diety while the Andheri River that wanders through the woods gave the name of the sanctuary.
