Register or Login<p>We featured a news item about Ebisu and other JDM motorsports facilities affected by the March 11 earthquake in and around the Fukushima province in the July issue. We are happy to report that one of the harder hit tracks, Ebisu Circuit, is up and running. In fact, it barely missed a beat. The Spring Matsuri went off without a hitch. Matsuri is an open drift session that attracts 300 to 600 cars and includes 36 hours of non-stop drifting madness. Grassroots drifters got to rub shoulders with the D1 elite as the pros practice for the upcoming D1GP Round 6 event scheduled for August. The D1 event will headline a week that includes a local G1 competition and the go-for-broke Summer Matsuri.</p>
