By now, some of you are probably thinking, "But don't
YOU make overgeneralizations all the time, Marius?"

It's true I do, especially when I make bold statements
such as:

   "Always keep the attraction high."

"Never tell a woman you love her too early."

   "Always be a challenge."

"Always flirt with women and tease them."

"Never let any woman waste your time."

"Never treat a certain differently because you think
she's different than other women."

But you know what? There is a HUGE difference between
making an absolute statement such as "Never let any woman
waste your time" and "Women never like me because I am
short."

One is self-empowering. The other is self-defeating.

Those of you who are familiar with my teaching should
know that I see what I teach as a certain "model of the
world" - one that has been "tweaked" over the years to give
a man the most success in dating and other areas of his life.

In my opinion, there are no "right" or "wrong" beliefs
in this world, only "effective" and "ineffective" beliefs -
especially when it comes to dealing with real-life situations.

For example, notice how I've never said it is "wrong"
to give women flowers on a first date or to act like
a little wuss all the time. In my mind, these things are not
"bad" or "wrong" - only ineffective.

The same thing applies to the "broad statements" I've
made in my "Smart Dating Course" and this newsletter over the
years.

Yes, a lot of things I teach you are broad
overgeneralizations. But they *work*, and that's the most
important thing.

Let me ask you a question: Would you rather have a
bent-up view of the world and think that no woman will ever
like you, or would you rather believe in your OWN SKILLS
and ABILITY...and use the ASSETS of your individual drive,
motivation, and personality to conquer the world?

With that said, I'm going to give you another
one of my bold overgeneralizations:

   Over generalized negative beliefs are bad;
Over generalized positive beliefs are good.

Can you see how having this belief can make you
more *effective* in this world?

By the way, here's another analogy I've read
on the newspaper many years ago:

"It doesn't matter if it's a black cat or a
white cat. As long as it catches mice, it's a good
cat."
