The latest firmware version brings MIUI 5 v4.5 and brings a fix to several performance-related issues.

The update weighs in at 514.4MB and should already be waiting for you to download it.

Xiaomi held several big sales campaigns for the Redmi 1S in India selling over 100,000 phones in seconds. The smartphone is offered for just $98 (INR 5,999), which considered its specifications is a spectacular price.
