Set in the American west in the 1800s, Gun features an entertaining storyline that comes with a few unexpected twists to keep gamers guessing how it will work out. Top notch voice acting from Hollywood actors adds extra polish to the game making it easy to get immersed in the old west and the story of main character Colton White. Sticking to the time period the game uses period-specific weapons like six shooters, Gatling guns, dynamite, flaming arrows, shotguns and even hatchets. As the game progresses skills and abilities are upgraded for better weapons and power, plus players can find and unlock secret weapons during gameplay. The old west comes alive again as gamers gunsling it through Montana, Dodge City, and the deserts of New Mexico in the expansive, free roaming locations that allow for exploration and keep the game from becoming too linear. Very cool side missions round out the solid gameplay with a nice variety of skills and missions like playing poker for cash, hunting for bounties and buffalo, launch fort assaults, and offer protection to various ladies of the night. Gun is a good time all around, and shooter fans should get a big kick out of it.</p>
