America at a Crossroads is a major public television event that premiered on PBS in April 2007. This ongoing series explores the challenges confronting the post-9/11 world ââ,¬â€ including the war on terrorism; the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan; the experience of American troops serving abroad; the struggle for balance

within the Muslim world; and global perspectives on Americaââ,¬â,,¢s role overseas.
The initial series of 11 independently produced documentaries premiered on Sunday, April 15, 2007 and aired

nightly through Friday, April 20.
Series host Robert MacNeil provides opening and closing comments adding context to the compelling stories and provocative points of view to the films.
