Bread price increase canceled, Lebanon MET increases subsidy


Beirut- The Ministry of Economy and Trade ( MET) announced that as of Friday June 27, 2008, a ton of subsidized flour will be sold to bakers for 330000 LL, or $220 US dollars, for the production of  Arabic bread  (pita).
