S&P500 financials to write down $35-70 bln more: Bear Stearns
      

(Reuters) - S&P 500 financial companies will likely post
additional write-downs of $35 billion to $70 billion in the
first quarter, a Bear Stearns analyst said, citing
deterioration in credit markets.
