Futures point to mild rise; techs fall in Europe
      

(Reuters) - Stock futures point to a modest recovery at the start of trade. September Dow Jones, Standard & Poor's and Nasdaq 100 futures are up between 0.2 and 0.3 percent by 5:15 a.m. EDT. U.S. benchmark indexes    fell by more than 2 percent on Wednesday.
