UnitedHealth results meet target, shares rise
      

NEW YORK (Reuters) - UnitedHealth Group Inc  reported a quarterly profit that met Wall Street estimates as medical costs eroded premiums less than expected and the company avoided any major investment losses, sending shares nearly 9 percent higher.
