Few trees get around as much as the aspen.

It shows up across Canada and throughout the continental United States, and it reaches as far south as the mountain chains of central Mexico---the widest range, that is to say, of any North American tree.

Fall finds the aspen in all its glory, its leaves ablaze with color---but only for a brief moment.
