            WHO ARE WE?: We are The Gaian Theatre Company, a group of people on GaiaOnline who reenact abbreviated versions of real life musicals using Gaia's resources in front of live audiences. All lines are typed live by the "actors". Some "actors" type lines quicker than others, people make typos, have late entrances, etc. -- bringing the charm of live theater to the internet.

WHAT IS THIS?: This was our final presentation of our reenactment of Spring Awakening this summer. This is also our first try in uploading a whole "show" to YouTube!

WHO'S IN THIS?: At this particular performance, the cast was as follows. Asterisks next to names means that either a) that actor was an understudy or b) that actor played that role but not in this particular cast (we had two separate casts -- one which rehearsed and performed in the afternoon, the other in the evening). A slash between names means that an actor had to leave during the show and was replaced by the actor following the slash.

I WANT IN ON THIS PROJECT: The GTC is, as of time of writing (January 09), on a hiatus because of glitches on Gaia that make it too difficult for us to rehearse and perform. However, we will continue to post old shows such as this on YouTube, so subscribe!, and any new information about shows, etc. will always be posted a) in our official thread on Gaia in the Community Projects subforum of the GCD b) On our Twitter, spheretheatre and c) At our Livejournal community (also spheretheatre). We've gotten some great actors through videos of ours posted on YouTube before -- even if you're not already on Gaia, feel free to come by and we'll try and help you get involved
