AMD Names Chairman, Spins Off Foundry Company

NewsFactor - Advanced Micro Devices named Bruce Clafin its new chairman on Monday. Clafin, a veteran of Digital Equipment, IBM and 3Com, replaces Hector Ruiz at the Sunnyvale, Calif.-based chip manufacturer.
