            Demeter is murdered by Macavity and is stranded on earth as a ghost. She stays because she blames Munkustrap and the tribe for her death thinking that they abandon her. The tribe are frightened and shun her (like Grizabella if you think about it), the only cat that listens to her is her best friend Bombalurina. Bomba is scarred of Demi after a while and tells her exactly what happened to her. Demi is now realizing that she was murdered by Macavity. (the greyscale clips of him are obviously are the things she remembers of him) Demi does go to the Heavyside Layer in the end but is still haunted by the Hidden Paw...
