Valentines: Romance Without The Spend
With Valentine's Day around the bend, we thought we might share with you some ideas in regard to enjoying the holiday without the collection of debt or overboard spending.  Even with the recent downturn in the economy, people may feel the pressure to spend extravagantly this holiday. Try to resist this pressure by focusing on sending a different message.  Instead of letting traditional "presents" represent your feelings,You are not allowed to view links. Rather than buying a Valentine's Card make one.  Express your artistic side and have fun decorating it. Not an artist? No problem. Buy a simple blank card and spend some time writing a note telling your significant other how you feel about them. Use your own words and not a card manufacturer's prose to express yourself.
Give the gift of time to your significant other. Instead of planning a night on the town,You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login, plan an evening of being together. Use coupons for a good, inexpensive, bottle of wine. Make a meal together and enjoy it with the focus being on the quality of time you spend together. Take a walk before or after dinner together and hold hands. Rent a couple of movies and curl up and watch them together (remember to ask for a movie that your partner might want, not just what you want). If the movies are discounted because of promotional codes or coupons, so much the better!
The most important thing to remember this Valentine's Day is to not spend to impress. We often forget that dating is much more about being who you really are, as opposed to trying to portray yourself as someone you are not.  If you are committed to being thrifty,You are not allowed to view links. By placing your focus on the expression of the "quality" of your feelings for the other person,You are not allowed to view links.
