Not enough data to support suicide screening: panel

By Andrew M. Seaman NEW YORK (Reuters Health) - There is not enough evidence to recommend universal screening to find people at risk of suicide, according to a government-backed panel. As it did in 2004, the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) issued draft guidelines on Monday that conclude "there is not enough evidence to make a definitive recommendation for or against screening."
