Sending a message

To send a message, perform the following steps:

1.    To send a message, access the phone book by pressing the Left Soft key.

2.    Select the name of the person to whom you wish to send a message, and then press the Menu key for more options.

3.    Scroll to and select Send Message.

4.    Type the desired text, and then send the message.

Storing a phone number to the SIM card

To store a phone number to the SIM card, perform the following steps:

1.    Access the phone book, and then press the Menu key.

2.    Select New, and then edit the entry.

3.    Scroll to Speed No., type a number greater than 500, and then press the OK key.

NOTE: If you already have a number stored on the number you type, it will ask you if you wish to replace it. If you select NO, it will populate the next available entry on your SIM card.

4.    To save the number, press the Done key.

Creating a menu shortcut

To create a menu shortcut, perform the following steps:

1.    At the main screen, press the Menu key.

2.    Scroll to and select the specific menu for which you want to create a shortcut.

3.    After selecting the desired menu, press and hold the Menu key until prompted for a shortcut code number.

NOTE: Submenus can also be assigned a shortcut code.
