A Samsung-made reference tablet has been caught in the wild showcasing LTE Broadcast capabilities on a 4K display at the Roland Garros venue, where currently the French Open is taking place.

The device is reportedly a 12&quot; UHD slate and has the unmistakable Samsung styling and layout - capacitive recent and back buttons flanking the physical home button and the Samsung logo.

According to reps at the venue the slate is equipped with a Snapdragon 801 chip.



Sadly this doesn't appear to be one of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S slates and it's unlikely to pop up in a retail store near you soon.
