Record High: 19 People Now Orbit Earth Following Latest Soyuz Launch

A new record has been established with 19 people currently orbiting Earth. The record was achieved on September 11, 2024, when a Russian Soyuz rocket launched three new crew members towards the International Space Station (ISS). This milestone surpasses the previous record of 17 set last year.
