arstechnica.com -- I got my first real exposure to Spam in the mid-1980s when I roomed with a Hawaiian student. Like many residents of Hawai'i, he had an intense and abiding love for the canned, ham-like meat. It was not until I received an @arstechnica.com e-mail address that I would be exposed a similar quantity of spam on a daily basis. See the complete story here.
